For all the Microsoft Dynamics 365 enthusiasts out there (like our team here at Ledgeview Partners), Microsoft has launched a new documentation site.
This new site will provide developers, administrators, and power users a fast and efficient way to find the information they need to get the most from Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Getting Started with Dynamics 365
On the home page, it is sectioned into 5 main navigation points and also spotlights a way to learn “What’s New” with the latest features and releases for Dynamics 365. This page will also soon have additional options to help you get started, and get the most out of Dynamics 365.
Enterprise Edition Applications
If you are an enterprise 365 user, this is your spot. This page provides an overview of the products (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Finance and Operations, Project Service Automation, Talent, Customer Insights, and Retail) which is great for current use or to evaluate for future implementation. In addition, you can find documentation on how to customize, setup, develop, deploy and more.
Business Edition Applications
At this time, the only Business Edition Application available is the Dynamics 365 for Financials, but stay tuned to this page as Microsoft rolls out additional business editions in the future. You can check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Roadmap for more details.
Add-In Solutions and Apps
One of the best aspects of Dynamics 365 is the flexibility it has to integrate with first party add-ins and apps. This is your spot to learn more about these covering Customer Engagement (CRM), Finance and Operations, and Talent.
Integrate, Customize, Develop
For all you developers and administrators that love to customize Dynamics 365 to suite your needs, this page describes what you can do with the Dynamics 365 platform and the tools that are available whether you are using CRM, Financials Business Edition, Retail, or the Unified Operations platform.
