Bowling for Charity Nets $2,435

Ledgeview Partner employees score $2,435 for three organizations during their annual “Bowling For Charity.

Ledgeview Partner employees’ annual “Bowling for Charity” event was held in conjunction with their holiday party in January. Lisa Benson, Co-Founder and President, organized the teams and gave each one a different color. Equipped with hard hats, megaphones, pom pons, and sun glasses, bowlers earned dollars for points. Bonus points were awarded for strikes and spares. Each team picked a favorite charity to donate their winnings to. The blue team won the coveted gold-plated Bowling Trophy for most points!

Blue team member, and first time bowler Jean Degener, Account Manager, was excited to tackle a new challenge. “I gathered advice (and great enthusiasm) from my team members, and set out to bowl my heart out. After all, there was money on the line for several good causes and I didn’t want to disappoint. With some beginners luck, I managed to bowl a strike! Although I’m not quite ready to debut my own line of professional bowling gear, I look forward to another chance to bowl again — especially if it’s for a good cause!” she said.

“Bowling For Charity” is just one of several ways the company gives back to the community. “It’s one of the things I like most about working here – the owners are very generous and believe it’s important to give our time, talent and treasure to organizations that make a difference,” said Tom Lemirand, CRM Application Consultant. Ledgeview also sponsors 26 children from Compassion International, and collects non-perishable food items to “Take a Byte Out of Hunger” during the holidays.

A total of $2,435 was donated to the Ashley Anderson Scholarship Fund, the Salvation Army, and the Ronald McDonald Houses a result of “Bowl for Charity.”
