CRM Quick Tip – Reconfigure CRM for Tablets

Prior to the Dynamics CRM Spring Release (SP1) if you used the CRM for Tablets application on your mobile device or Windows 8 in order to connect to a different organization you needed to completely uninstall the application and then re-install. The latest version now provides the ability to “reconfigure” the application to connect to a different organization.

On the Windows version open the Charms menu and under Settings look for Reconfigure.

On iOS and Android open the More Commands menu and under Settings look for Reconfigure.

Keep in mind every time you use this feature you lose any metadata you’ve downloaded for that organization. So if you go back and try to connect to an organization you were previously connected to you’ll still need to wait for the configuration to get everything set up again.
