One of the newer features in Microsoft Dynamics CRM is the addition of the quick create form. This can be used for easily creating new records by inputting only the basic information to “quickly” create it. There is a simple way to turn this feature on and off per entity. Here is how you do it.

1. In Dynamics CRM, navigate to Settings->Customizations and click on “Customize the System”.

2. Within the default solution, expand “Entities” and click on the name of the entity you want to turn this feature on or off for. In this example, I’ve clicked on the “Account” entity.

3. Scroll down and locate the checkbox for Allow quick create. You can check the box to turn it on, or uncheck the box to turn it off.

4. Remember to save and publish your changes!
